Relocation Source, Ltd. (including its affiliates) d/b/a Global People (“Company”, “Global People”, “we”, “Our”) respects the privacy of the users of its Site (“User” or “you”) and is committed to protect the User’s personal information. We believe that you have a right to know our practices regarding the information we may collect and use when you visit and/or use our Site. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal information and how we will treat it.

2. Which information we may collect on our Users?

We may collect two types of data and information from our Users:

2.1   The first type of information is non-identifiable and anonymous information (“Non-personal Information”). We are not aware of the identity of the User from whom we have collected the Non-personal Information. Non-Personal Information is any unconcealed information which does not enable identification of an individual User, and which is available to us while such User is entering into and/or using the Site. You may access and browse the Site without disclosing personal information, although, like most websites and online services, we passively collect certain Non-Personal Information from your devices when you access and browse our Site, including: (i) technical information such as the type and version of your device and its operating system, the type of browser, screen resolution, device browser and keyboard language, Wi-Fi connectivity and the type and name of your device and/or browser, etc.; and (ii) behavioral information and aggregated information which may include the User’s click-stream on the Site, the activities of the User on the Site and additional information of a similar nature (collectively, “Technical and Behavioral Information”). We also use third-party service providers such as Google Analytics to obtain detailed analytics on the User’s behavior on the Site.

Please note that we or our third-party service providers may collect such Technical and Behavioral Information by using certain technologies such as cookies.

2.2   The second type of information is individually identifiable information (“Personal Information”). This information may identify an individual or may be of a private and/or sensitive nature.

2.2.1 Personal Information which is provided consciously and voluntarily:

  • Communications with Global People: Personal Information is collected from the details the Users provide as part of any communications with Global People, by any means, including whilst contacting us via our e-mail or via the “Get in touch with us” form on the Site (for receiving the salary simulation or other information), including, inter alia, full name, email address, company/organization name and telephone number. You may optionally provide via such form any text you wish to insert into the “message box”. Once your contact details are received by us, our representative may contact you for further communication and as such may collect additional Personal Information from you.
  • Newsletter: you may voluntarily join our newsletter by providing us with your email address.

2.2.2     Personal Information collected via technology:

  • Geolocation data: while using the Site, we will access, collect, process, monitor and/or remotely store “geolocation data”, including through the collection of IP addresses and other similar information to determine your location for analytics and security purposes.
  • Identifiers: we process certain online identifiers, such as Internet Protocol (IP) address, your Unique Device Identifier (UDID), or another unique identifiers, mainly for geo-location, targeted advertising and security purposes. In addition, when using the Site our authorized third-party service providers may collect your advertising identifiers, as further detailed below.
  • Technical and Behavioral Information: to the extent that the Technical and Behavioral Information detailed above under Section 2.1 will be linked to or associated with a specific individual, then such information will be considered as Personal Information.
  • Please note that: We use third-party tracking services and usage logs, to track and analyze data from Users of the Site and for purposes of security and fraud prevention. We may also use cookies to gather information regarding your use of the Site and the information for which you searched and accessed (for more information please see in Section Cookies & Local Storage below).

For avoidance of doubt, any Non-personal Information connected or linked to or associated with any Personal Information shall be deemed as Personal Information as long as such connection, linkage or association exists.

We do not collect any Personal Information from you or related to you without your approval, which is obtained, inter alia, through your acceptance of the TOU and the Privacy Policy.

3. How Do We Collect Information on our Users?

There are a few main methods that we use in order to collect information:

  • We collect information through your entry, connection, access and/or use of the Site. In other words, when you are using the Site, we are aware of it and may gather, collect and store the information relating to such usage (such as the Non-personal Information detailed above and your IP address), either independently or through the help of our authorized third-party service providers as detailed below.
  • We collect information which you provide us voluntarily. For example, we collect Personal Information when you contact us via our e-mail address, via the “Get in touch with us” form on the Site, etc.
  • We collect information from third parties. Such information may include mailing lists and other information available from public sources (i.e. information available on websites associated with you or your company or on social network pages).

We may gather, collect and store such information either independently or through the help of our authorized third-party service providers as detailed below.

4. What are the Purposes of the Collection of Information?

Non-personal Information is collected in order to:  

  • Use it for statistical, analytical and research purposes and for customization, developing and improvement of our Site.
  • Enhance the User’s experience while using the Site.
  • Keep the Site safe and secured and for prevention of fraud.

Personal Information is collected in order to:

  • Operate the Site and the Services.
  • Personalize and enhance the Users experience while using the Site.
  • Respond to your inquiry.
  • Provide the Users who subscribed to our Newsletter with commercial materials, updates about Global People’s new offerings, news regarding the Services, etc.
  • Be able to contact Users for marketing purposes and provide them with technical assistance.
  • Add your contact details to our mailing list for the purposes of sending you information about our services by email and through web-browser.   • Determine general geolocation information (i.e., country) from which the User’s computer is connected to the Internet in order for us to know the general location of our Site’s Users as well as in order to safeguard our Site.
  • Email tracking – we may use tracking technology within the email we may send you in order to improve interactions with you and to better understand whether our emails were opened and read, and such tracking may include capturing the time and date in which you opened our email messages and the type of device you use to open such emails.
  • Ensure that the content on the Site is presented in an optimal way for you and for your device (e.g. tablet, mobile phone).
  • Send you by email, SMS, phone, through web-browser notification or through the post updates, notices, announcements, and additional information related to the Company including with respect to changes made to our Site’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
  • Conduct internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research and statistical purposes.
  • Keep the Site safe and secured and for prevention of fraud and crime.
  • Comply with our legal obligations and in order to be able to protect our rights and legitimate interests, including in order to improve the Site.
  • Maintain our data processing records and general administrative purposes.

5.  Sharing Information with Third Parties

Global People respects your privacy and will not share any Personal Information it collects with any third party, other than as explicitly permitted under this Privacy Policy.

Notwithstanding, Global People may share Personal Information in the following cases: (a) to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, subpoena or governmental request; (b) to enforce this Privacy Policy and/or the TOU, including investigation of potential violations thereof, and to defend against any claims or demands asserted against us by you or on your behalf; (c) to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues; (d) to respond to User’s support requests; (e) to respond to claims that any content available on the Service violates the rights of third-parties; (f) to respond to claims that contact information (e.g. name, e-mail address, etc.) of a third-party has been posted or transmitted without their consent or as a form of harassment; (g) to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of the Company, its Users or the general public; (h) by virtue of undergoing any change in control, including by means of merger, acquisition or purchase of all or substantially all of the assets of Company; (i) to collect, hold and/or manage your Personal Information through Company’s authorized third parties service providers (including, as applicable, their affiliates as necessary to provide us with the requested services), as reasonable for business purposes, which may be located in a country that does not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction; (j) to store or process your Personal Information through Our affiliated companies, which may be located in a country that does not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction; (k) cooperate with third parties for legitimate business purposes, including without limitation, enhancing the User’s experience; and/or (l) pursuant to your explicit approval prior to the disclosure.

For avoidance of doubt, Global People may transfer and disclose Non-personal Information to third parties at its discretion including without limitation for statistical, analytical and research purposes and for customization, developing and improvement of our Site.

6. Social Features

Our Site may include social media features, such as Facebook share button (“Social Features”). The Social Features are operated or allow for social integration with certain third party social networks or third party platforms (“Social Network”). These Social Networks and platforms are created and maintained by third parties who are not affiliated with and/or controlled by Global People. If you enable this integration with such Social Networks, your use of the Social Features is subject to the applicable third party Social Network’s terms of use and privacy policies. You should ensure that you read their terms of use and privacy policies to understand how they treat your information and in order to understand the methods for changing the privacy or sharing settings on such services. If you do not agree to the practices described in such terms you should not allow the Site to interact with such Social Networks, however you may find that you are not able to enjoy all the features that may be made available via the Site. You understand that where you allow interaction with any third party Social Network, we may share data about you with your contacts (and vice versa) in order that you may enjoy social elements. This data may include, without limitation, your name and your social media profile picture. By using the Social Features you hereby agree and understand that the applicable Social Networks may collect certain Personal Information, such as your IP address, Non-personal Information and may set cookies and/or other web tracking technologies to enable the functionality of the Social Features. The use of such features enables the sharing of information with your friends or the public, depending on the settings you establish with the third party that provides the Social Features. You hereby understand and agree that when you share content from Social Networks that your content may become public and others may re-post-it.

7. Minors

The Site is intended for Users over the age of sixteen (16). Therefore, Global People does not intend and does not knowingly collect directly Personal Information from children under the age of sixteen (16) and does not wish to do so. We reserve the right to request proof of age at any stage so that we can verify that minors under the age of sixteen (16) are not using the Site.

8. Direct Marketing

You hereby agree that we may use your contact details you provided us with (including, without limitation, e-mail address and phone number) for the purpose of providing you commercial and/or non-commercial materials related to our current and/or future products and services. You may withdraw your consent by sending a written notice to Global People e-mail address that appears in the Site or alternatively follow the instructions for removing yourself from the mailing list which are available in the message transmitted to you.

9.  Third Party Service Providers

We may be using third party software or service in order to collect, host, store and/or process the information detailed herein. Such third parties may be located in a country that does not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction. Global People uses commercially reasonable efforts to engage with third parties that post a privacy policy governing their collection, processing and use of non-personal and personal information. 10.  Links to Third Party Websites

Certain links provided in the Site permit Users to leave our Site and enter non-Global People sites or services. Those linked sites and services are provided solely as a convenience to you. Those linked sites and services are not under the control of Global People and it is not responsible for the availability of such external sites or services, and does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for any content advertising, products, services or other information on or available from such linked sites and services or any link contained in a linked site or service. Global People reserves the right to terminate any link at any time. You further acknowledge and agree that Global People shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such linked sites or resource.

Most of such linked sites and services provide legal documents, including terms of use and privacy policy, governing the use thereof. It is always advisable to read such documents carefully before using those sites and services, inter alia, in order to know what kind of information they are collecting.

11.  Cookies & Local Storage

When you access or use the Site, we and/or our third party service providers may use industry-wide technologies such as User persistent identifiers (or other similar technologies), which store certain local information on your device (“Local Storage”) which may enable, inter alia, automatic activation of certain features and make the User’s Site experience and usage simpler, more relevant, convenient and effortless. Such information is locally stored in the User’s device. Global People and/or our authorized third party service providers may access such information.

Global People and/or our authorized third party service providers may use both session cookies (which expire once you close the Site) and persistent cookies (which stay on the User’s device until he/she deletes them). Cookies are small text files which are stored on, and accessed from, your computer or mobile device when you visit or use the Site. 12.  International Data Transfer

13. Deletion or Modification of Personal Information

Your data is yours. In the event that you wish to modify or delete the Personal Information you provided us via the Site you can send us an e-mail of your request to: sales@global-pp.com, and we will modify or delete your Personal Information pursuant to any applicable privacy laws. We will retain and use your Personal Information for a reasonable time after termination as necessary to comply with our legal or business requirements or obligations (including as required by applicable law), to resolve disputes, and/or to enforce our Terms. Note that unless otherwise explicitly specified herein and/or unless you instruct us otherwise, we may retain your Personal Information for as long as reasonably required for the purposes of which such Personal Information was collected, all as permitted under any applicable privacy laws. Aggregated and/or anonymous information derived from your use of the Site may remain on our servers indefinitely.

We take reasonable measures to maintain the security and integrity of our Site and prevent unauthorized access to it or use thereof through generally accepted industry standard technologies and internal procedures. GLOBAL PEOPLE SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, HACKING, OR OTHER SECURITY INTRUSIONS OR FAILURE TO STORE OR THE THEFT, DELETION, CORRUPTION, DESTRUCTION, DAMAGE, OR LOSS OF ANY DATA OR INFORMATION.    

15. Changes to the Privacy Policy

The terms of this Privacy Policy will govern the use of the Site and any information collected therein. The Company reserves the right to change this policy at any time, so please re-visit this page frequently to check for any changes. In case of any material change, we will make reasonable efforts to post a clear notice on the Site or we will send you an e-mail regarding such changes to the e-mail address that you may have provided us with. Such material changes will take effect seven (7) days after such notice was provided on our Site or sent to you via e-mail, whichever is the earlier.
